Aye. The one I have has straps as well as the bungees. I put these
through the pillion handles, so between the bungees and these, it can't
    go far.
I've never tried belt and braces on a pack.
The inbuilt bungees have always sufficed. Even with the pack in
extended form which makes it about 18" high!

Why is a tank bag any lower or nearer to the rider than a tailpack? The top
of my tank is higher than the pillion seat (albeit not by much) and my tail
back is right up against my back when I sit on the bike

    Back ache.
    makes bike wider

Hey at least it wasn't from tescos.

    Not really, no.

But if you're going to imply that your 17:30 is different to anybody
else's 17:30, it might help to have a vague idea of when you are.

I really cannot understand you people purchasing these motorcycles with
such limited storage capacity. There are lockers and holds on the
BlingMobile that I haven't even *found* yet, much less explored.

I don't think he'll be back for a while. I always get "hai" and "lie"
confused. He looked a tad startled and fucked off somewhere back behind
    the cup-holder.

Don't rely on the just the bungies supplied because if one snaps then
it'll get swung into the rear wheel and bad things will happen. It
does look like they come with far more than the 2 integral ones of a
    few years ago though.

    Ballistic says...
They come with the crossed over pair underneath, a strap that velcros
under the seat, 4 bungees that attach to the D rings at the top of the
pack and another two that double up on each side through a D ring half
way up each side of the pack. If that little lot can't stop the
tailpack swinging into the wheel then whatever cerebrally challenged
fuckwit fitted it to the bike truly deserves to die.
