    Hi all

    I have Googled & found a site with what looks like the best deal for the above cover;
    http://www.forestedge-retail.co.uk/acatalog/Bike_Covers_from_Oxford.html

at £45. Is this the one with the almost Cordura-type outer shell and soft, fluffy
sheepskin-like inner part? Can anyone confirm this, as I have seen a mate`s cover but I`m
not sure if this is exactly it.. Also is this the best price, or will SWK come along &
    tell me otherwise?

    cheers

Yes thats the one. I also have this one which was purchased from this guy
(forest edge) but via Ebay. Have a look at "Forest Edge Oxford Products
Shop".........sometimes you will get a cheaper one which is auctioned rather
than "buy it now" at £45. I have bought a few things from this guy and would
recommend him - as would many others looking at his feedback.

The thing with this cover is that you are ok to put it right over the bike
as soon as you stop - even with hot exhausts etc........although I recall
first few tries I stayed around for 15 mins in case it caught fire!

    Cheers,

I'm after a new cover as my old faithful green canvas one died at the
    beginning of summer.

Are the Oxford ones any good? How quickly does the fleecy bit dry when
it gets wet (which it undoubtably will)?

I once had a cover with heat proofed areas to protect the cover from hot
exhausts. OK on a UJM but didn't match the Guzzi.

Anyone have an idea of prices for a new green cover?

The quality is good and the fleecy bit dries quiet quickly - especially if
put away hot. The only thing I would say is that I use mine to cover up the
bike in the garage so can't comment on how effective it would be out in the
    elements.
