    ....Ow. Ow.

    <stops banging head against wall>

    That's better.

    Anyone want to buy a newly made rearset for a ZX7RR, complete with
    gearchange lever?

    The *slight* catch (and it's really pretty slight) is that it'll only
    really work if the gearchange on your ZX7RR is on the right hand side.

    <sigh>

    I really, really, *really* shouldn't drink in the workshop.

    I learnt that very, very early. Miss Pain is a good teacher.

    ...and on mass meetings Mr. Confident Orator meets bewildered unsure
    pissed wanker Jekyl-Hyde style is an education too.

  4. It doesn't matter if you're going to be sitting back to front.
    Why not? Doesn't the pub server drinks?

    Your pub has a server?

    WTF happened to traditional old pubs with big ****-off fireplaces adorned
    with horse-brasses; tiny red lamp-shades on wall-mounted candle-shaped
    bulbs; four old blokes playing dominoes sat in well-worn seats their
    fathers' fathers' fathers' sat in; busty barmaids spilling out of dresses
    they were poured into but forgot to say when;

  10. Wotcha.
    Not a problem - remove the engine and fit it back with the carbs to the
    front, and the exhaust to the rear - job's a good 'un.

  11. I find drinking at my PC makes things like this all the more entertaining
    (although Doom3 becomes more difficult) :) If I had a ZX7RR I think I'd have
    to buy them just for novelty value.

    I feel your pain, Brother Nigel. No, really. There's the odd
    prototype twisted bit of 6mm ally lying indecoratively around the
    living room here atm. And several more looking really sad for
    You're doing better than me. I **** up sober.

    I'd have thought it could have been bodged onto the ShiteOldOilfield -
    that's a right-shifter, isn't it?

    Ho yuss. But mine's already got rearsets that were made by someone
    competent. And I'm sure that LW has better taste than to try.

    In that case, just send it to Champ as if nothing's wrong. He'll go crazy
    trying to make it fit.
