Over a Thousand in Here

Just curious, I wonder if the rec.moto NG has over a thousand
''post/responses''?
When I first came in here, months back there was an average of 5-600 ( I
think)
Whatz neat, is, we have to go over to the 500's and 600's to read a
fairly current thread/post. Like 2,3 days new.<> Nowwwww, I am not
braggin', just an observation. I havnet been over there, they might have
over 2,000.
and 1500 of em' are fairly current...great.

Yeah. they more than likely have that many.. About 98 % are from about six
people who've hijacked that newsgroup.. That little crew takes delight in
cross posting other newsgroups for the excitement of a flame war..

There is also a handful on tx.motorcycles who would like to hijack this
group to take it over, also.. They've been trying to do that for several
years.. So far .. they've not been successful.. Periodically .. they
encourage their buddies on reeky to swarm by cross posting into
tx.motorcycles.. especially when they are being discredited with some of
their own sleazy bullshit.. Bill Walker seems to be the target whenever this
phenomenon occurs.. This latest little episode is a perfect example..

Over the years.. I've offered to abandon this newsgroup, if it would be in
the best interest and desires of the mainstream contributors of the group..
Each time I've made that offer, I have been assured that the majority would
not like to see that happen.. So.. I'm still here . Bjay and have no
intention of allowing any group of posers to eliminate me from participating
on tx.motorcycles.. Must be important to that little group, because they
keep trying..

This latest episode has caused me to become involved in their base group on
reeky.. That isn't what their objective was, and what you are witnessing is
surprise and confusion .. They don't know what to do about being challenged
in their own backyard.. A lot of the good people on the reeky group are
delighted that at least someone is challenging their monopoly of a good
newsgroup.. Regards..
