I think it's a fair question given that Petel said he was getting banged up
and then said he'd been released (presumably due to some admin error[2]).

If he didn't want people to ask why he'd been doing a one-man re-enactment
of "The Shawshank Redemption" then he should have kept his trap shut about
the whole thing.

[1] Except in the case of large crims, what have done some time for
violence - when extreme respect is called for.
[2] Perhaps, for example, they only meant to let him out for his drive to

I agree! That's why I'm intruigued. Pete1 seems to think he's gain
cred by being inside on a matter of principle.

Now, if his matter of principle was that he shot a pikey breaking into
his house he has my utter respect. If his matter of principle is that
he feels he should be allowed to rape babies or perform acts of petty
yobbery then he doesn't.

The fact that he's mentioned deliberately in such a way as to create
curisoity means people are going to inevitably wonder what he was in
for.

You haven't met Petel have you? I've met the guy once when he turned up
to the EOSM or similar. He'd been through all sorts of hassle and abuse
on here but came along anyway. I think he made a lot of friends that
night and won a fair amount of kudos - and even some of his most ardent
critics appear to have changed their view of him.

My take on this is that he's a decent chap, he mentioned that he would
be away from the group for a while and then said he was back - like lots
of people do. While I am slightly curious about what happened I respect
the guy's right to some privacy and his right to decide what he tells
the assembled throng on this group.

Oh and suggesting he's more likely to be at the baby raping end of the
criminal offences scale is just a poor attempt at getting the guy to
give more of a hint as to what happened. He has no need to justify or
explain anything to anyone on this group.
