Looks like the "pink" bike is sold.

A friend of mine wants it, he has his DAS on the 24th July and if he passes
(fingers crossed) he will pick it up the following weekend.

So this gives me 2 weeks to find a suitable replacement (maybe 4 weeks if he
    fails).

Wandered past a Honda dealers yesterday and sat on a CB500 (already sold)
felt very comfy and light... so come on, give me the 100 reasons why I
should rule the bugger out ;-)

Sorry if this appears twice, demon news is playing up a bit

David Thomas secured a place in history by writing:
They're a good laugh, well built, great commuters but you can have loads of
fun exploring the top of the rev range in more than second gear. And they
    handle.

On the downside: Their image lets them down a bit, as in mucho chortling
from power rangers and the general 'girl's bike' comments you'll get in
here. But if you're thick-skinned you'll be OK.

Exactly - I'm definitely faster than people on CB500's - which means they're
    very slow (the bike).

17a. They're prone to only running on 2 cylinders.

I think you'll find that they weren't trying too hard.

Or maybe you're a riding god and they're really really shit.

The CB500 would be absolutely perfect for you in every respect, and funnily
enough, I happen to have one for sale ;)
