I got this SMS from Nev yesterday afternoon:

This postie bike business is harder than it looks!!
mind you... The weather in Lightning Ridge today is
as good as the beer :)

....so I guess all is well!

The website doesn't have any news on it as yet, but I expect we'll see them here:

Oh, he and Jo both paid a pretty penny to do it! ;-)

They've got the updates on the website now for days 1 and 2
(Brisbane-Goondiwindi-Lightning Ridge). That 450km first day would
have sorted out the occasional riders, it's about 8 hours in the
    saddle!

  6. About 20 of us were coming back from the Jazz in the Vineyard at St.
George, on Sunday, when we started passing postie bikes going the other
way. Some were in groups, while others were out on their own. The
occasional rider was parked in the table drains by the side of the road.
One eating a late lunch. Another was standing forlornly, wondering who
was going to come along to fix his flat front tyre.

I suspect that some got slightly diverted at Millmerran - some heading
straight to Goondiwindi along the Gore, while others headed for
Inglewood and then to Gundy along the Cunningham Hwy.

    Would be a hoot, I'd say. :)
Nope. No updates showing up here. Using Firefox - still says under
construction, so I'm pretty sure it's not a browser problem.

That's why I'd need to sell the kids ...
8 hours in the saddle ... pfft! Oh, hang on, 8 hours in a postie bike
saddle!! It'd be like visiting my uncle for a week![1]

    Cheers

If I have to buy a whole one, I suppose a spare liver might come in handy.
