    this here usenet Texas forum.

To me he is still, the main player, and whatta player he use to be.

(Footpeg Note) I guess Acorn is hooking up his Bike Trailer. Getting
    ready for a eastern haul.

Our ratings are going to Hail'.
=Keith, Timbo,Vic, AriR, Morgan, Bill F., and others dont seem to give
a she'it, if we bottom out around here.

=Guys like Calgary, Vic, Keith, and that Airey fella, oh yeah, they
hightail it back over to Reekyville, where they have an over abundance
of regular assholes, not like the small group of assholes on this
Spirited, but, 'well informed' Texas group.

Ramblin' on out of here, YT, Bjay.

Whoo Hooo.. Damn.. Guess I need to do some explaining.. That old
friend of mine in Arizona has had a real close call this past week.. He
was taken to the VA Hospital in Tucson last Sunday.. His temperature
was ranging from 104 to almost 107.. Evidently, he'd been running that
temperature for about 12 hours without being able to bring it down.. He
was virtually comatose when he was admitted to the hospital..

His history with cancer makes his condition critical and more than dang-
erous.. The cancer treatment he's been receiving for the past five years
has diminished his immune system so badly that he is susceptible to any
    and all infections..

The diagnosis was pneumonia and a mass was discovered in one of his
lungs.. They ran biopses on it Friday morning and changed his diagnosis
from pneumonia to Valley Fever (whatever that is).. Leave it to Buddy to
come up with some kind of off the wall ailment.. lol..

Anyway, the treatment of Valley Fever is altogether different than the
treatment for pneumonia.. Seems the one treatment is contrary to the
other and can only aggravate the conditions.. Sheesh.. this has sure been
a close call for that old friend of mine.. We came real close to losing him,
    this time..

So that's what has kept me occupied this week.. I've been in close con-
tact with his sons in Tulsa, as well as the family in Arizona.. Just on the
edge of making an unplanned trip to Arizona..

We got word today, that he is doing much better with the different treat-
ment he's on .. That is good news, and they are telling us now, that he'll
need a couple of months to recuperate .. Good news, indeed..

<grin> The "bedwetting one" wrote a lot of usenet checks that he hasn't
been able to cash, a few years back.. lol..

The Green One is safely sitting on the mexicans' patio, serviced and ready
to make the next run.. Probably gonna be the ride to Guadalajara <evil grin>
This is a perfect opportunity to extend a personal invitation to Big Ed, to
make the trip.. hmmm.. Maybe he can get the Big Blue Venture broke in by
the time we make that run.. I wouldn't recommend taking a motorcycle on
that trip that isn't broken in.. hehehe..

Dont worry about that Venture. The rings were seated real good on the
return trip from Carlos. He ran that sucker over 100+ mph for several
miles. When we stopped at the gas station right before we split up,
oil was on the floor from the rear overflow. I am begining to think
that Yamaha might just outrun the Goldwing. I dont think he will be
going into Mexico anytime soon....but who knows....I never thought I
would see him run over a 100+ mph either.

Damn.. all that "oil on the floor" don't sound real good, does it ? lol
There's no doubt that Big Ed will run over anyone in front of him when
he gets headed toward the house..

When I saw all that oil on the floor, I thought he might have dropped
his bike when we were in the store. He just might have.

"Usenet Confessions" I dropped my bike with Cookie on the back of it one
time. Cracked my elbow and it took a year or so to quit hurting. Busted an
eardrum from Cookie screaming into it on the way down. Suffered shame due to
doing it in front of friends while going .0000001 mph backward. Learned a
good lesson due to stupid decision on my part.
