    Yep. Getting a

[15:39:32] 195.137.105.114 : Disconnect: Peer error: No connection
could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

which I assume is to do with my router port forwarding. Rechecked the
rule and it seem fine to me.

Looking on the tracker server, something on port 26968 at your end may
not be communicating to the outside world. It may be worth either
checking uPnP is turned on on the router and uTorrent is seeing it
(Logger tab on detailed info display) or hardcoding a port on both
    router and uTorrent.

In the router (Netgear 824GT), uPnO is turned on and I have both an
inbound and outbound service rule for uTorrent.

On my desktop in ZoneAlarm I have uTorrent ticked to allow both
    inbound and outbound traffic.

In uTorrent it has port 26968 set up as the incoming port.

    What have I missed?

[16:22:30] Unable to map UPnP Port.

I now have the Topfield PVR .rec file on a CD -R disc here. Any good
to you (can be converted to another format using the likes of
    VideoRedo)?

If so send me your postal address and I will get it off to you. It
will probably arrive sooner than me getting uTorrent to work :(

Thanks for that. Leave it a day or two though - if Statto gets his copy
uploaded, it'll probably be quicker. If not, I'll email.

Sky Plus is perfectly capable of dumping a copy to an external
recorder, or at least the one my Mum has is. Of course they've now
made it so you have to put the 4-digit passcode in first, but it
worked fine the last time I did it (Chrimbo just gone, for Hogfather).

In that respect you are perfectly correct. I usually set it off
before going to bed, it is a pain that you can't just connect to it
and download directly from the HD.

Divx encoded .avi seeding and if you want I'll make the original .mpg
    available.

Note for Bear - BSB races should be ready in the morning.

AVI sat in download queue - but not doing anything (along with
Silverstone BSB & Supersport, none of which have downloaded a single
byte since I grabbed the torrents yesterday morning). Is it borked?

I downloaded the 1984 British GP (albeit slowly ) from UKRM-NOVA last
night and HIGNFY from last week from UKNova (more briskly) but my
upload of the Superstock race hardly shifted at all. So what does
that tell anyone who understands these things?

Last time a Telewest engineer came out he mentioned that it was
possible to connect an Ethernet lead to a Telewest TV Drive box and
directly access the harddrive to pull off content.

Anyone know how to do this? I've not had much luck Googling or
    physically trying.

Still nothing moving here. I haven't changed any settings since the
last time it worked. Any ideas? I'm using Azureus.

NFI, I'm afraid. I've not changed anything on the server that would
have any effect. I'll install Azureus on the work laptop and see if I
can work out WTF is going on.

Not looking good - from work, it's only downloading from my PC at
home. Check the Logger Tab on uTorrent and see if there's any signs of
it mapping a uPnP port. Other than that, I'm not sure what to suggest
    ATM.

Bugger. Try creating a torrent for a random file and uploading that.
