    That's very kind, Mr G.

Part # is in the original post, but I'll check before anything goes
any further, as I might need a headlamp motor too.

£510.32 - if Topeka Gold Metallic were available, which it isn't.

    £76.07 for the headlamp adjuster.

    One possible difficulty:

Package is 36"x28"x12" and weighs 10 lbs.

    According to an Ebay listing.

You gonna have room, what with your comfort seat, and actual luggage?

  8. I'm travelling biz class and have a decent luggage allowance. Between
us, we'll have just two suitcases. We can manage it.

    Good news.

That panel is the one that *all* the other panels of the fairing bolt
onto. It doesn't go up to the headlight, the headlight fits into it
    from behind.

It all looks simple enough to dismantle (I only need to refer to four
chapters of the workshop manual), but it's not going to be quick.

Most is held together with allen screws and trim clips.

Can't remember if I let you notice, but our friends in Albuquerque are
quite happy to let it rest in their garage until September, if you still
want one UR'd from the States.

*Dis*mantle. I made no predictions the other way.
That's really helpful, Neil. Thank you. I shall enquire with the
vendor, and set about arranging it.

Could you mail me their address (and email) please?

PPS cmsnl want €933 for it!
