    I'm still a bit confused...

    an extension ladder can slip 1 rung only... then the safety lugs/catch
    will catch on the next rung down.

    Was 1 rung of slip enough to cause this problem or do you have an old
    ladder without an auto-catch?

    If you have one without an auto-catch then right now throw it as *far*
    as you can.

    The new chainsaws are very light johno... perfect for Jodz!

    But I have to admit that is why I didn't get the heavy professional
    series saw :)
