  1. That's great.
Holy shit. I can't think of anything to say, other than what the Dutch
would say: "Sterkte", which translates to "Strength".

  9. Would be therapeutic yeah ...
I was totally aware of that law, which is why I put it in a private
carpark. It wasn't on a public road. By this interpretation a person
can get booked in their own driveway if they don't have a locked
gateway because they in control of the vehicle that has access to a
public area. The senselessness of it is that the cops drove me back to
my car put me in it and took off with my keys. I could have just
easily released the handbrake, put my foot on the clutch and rolled
down the hill through a light fence and onto the public road, so I
effectively was still in control of the vehicle.

I think you can tell from that what a vibrant fun beautiful girl she
    was.
Thanks. Just trying to keep busy and having people around me or I'll
    curl up in a ball.

  14. Thanks dude. I'm in Tasmania so it's a bit of a hike to your pub,
otherwise I'd take you up on it :)

I've got lots of great friends here who have been giving me support
over the last week and a half and appreciate the sentiments from all
    the posters in here.

    Hi Kevin,

I don't know you and it's hard to know how to respond after such a tragedy.
I've no first hand experience of going through such a thing but I can see
how coping after such an event is different and probably much harder than
after a normal bereavement. There may be something in the pdf linked below
    that may help.

  16. Yeah - after talking to some friends last night, I've decided to get
some professional grief counselling. I'm doing the normal "I can push
through this pain" but I'm going to give it a go.

  17. Be careful with those types, they have a financial interest in you being
affected in ways that are perfectly normal.

The only thing you really have to worry about are your own feelings of
guilt, you cannot avoid them but you must not let them overwhelm you.

    Don't forget to eat.

  18. Yeah, I've noticed that reaction. And friends have been telling me to
eat. Mind you, it wouldn't hurt for me to lose a bit of weight :)
