OT XP TCPIP/ICS Q

    Good point that. My work laptop is normally joined to the domain at
    work but I have a simple workgroup at home.

    Whenever I connect it and try to access a network resource of any type
    it'll take fucking ages to work out that it isn't actually on the
    domain any more but that it can still connect to stuff. Never could
    work out how to cure that, but it works, albeit slowly.

    No, but: have you tried a pathping (assuming the box with the problem is
    Win2k or XP)
