OT : WTB Intel CPU for laptop

    Looking to upgrade the CPU in this ere old Sony VGN-A197VP.

    Its got a Pentium M 1.6GHz, 400MHz FSB, socket M (aka 479 mPGA) SL6FA

    As far as I can find out I can upgrade it to
    Pentium M 2.1GHz SL7V3
    or *maybe*
    Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73GHz 533FSB SL9WE
    (unsure if the BIOS will support the EM64T needed for this one to work)

    Anyone got either of these CPUs they wouldn't mind parting with for a
    few beer tokens?

    I know next to sod all about the CPUs of late but I have one from an Acer
    Aspire 5610Z which I *think* is a 1.6 dual core. It's marked "1.60/1M/533
    Intel" and "LF80539 7625A992 SL9VX". ****, that took some focussing!

    Any good?
