forked out AUD$63,000 with NO government assistance to do my pilot training
over an 18 month period back in '93/'94. I didn't have to undress, bend
over or 'sell my soul' either - I did it the old fashioned way; worked very
fuggin hard!

I would tend to agree to some state. I do a double degree of Engineering and
IT at uni full time and am holding down 2 jobs. It's very hard to stay
awake, and i'd say sometimes affects my studies, but i'm doing it. However i
think that sometimes, in some degrees and even universities, that fee's are
high and workloads heavier then others. Not to mention the expensive living
of some.
