    Erm, Soup _will_ run under OS9. Don't know if 2.6.1 will, but earlier
    versions definitely will.

    You need to check the Soup homepage.

    I think that the OS9 interface is shite, why anyone would want to go
    back to it I don't know. The only thing that OS10 needs is a multiple
    virtual desktop, like Linux and Gnome.

  14. I can get it to 'run', i.e. start up. Of course, the settings file that I
    use with verion 2.7 or whatever, isn't compatible, so I create a different
    one in a different place, and then it _seems_ to work ... until I do
    APPLE-ALT-K to get newsgroups ... and it spits out a 'DNS error' at me.
