Never... have even been a strike breaker... and the reason was I wanted to
work and didn't see the reason for striking to be valid... unlike many who
were scared of the union heavies, I absolutely hated their arrogance...

I always have nice things to say
    but not to KP
    to quote "first blood"
"He drew first blood not me"
till Kp apologises to the WHOLE group for being a tool I won't be nice.

I don't sit on the wings and I am far from a left winger.
I weigh up my options and decide what is good for me and good for my
    profession.
(that may sound kind of right wing actually aht good for me bit:) )

Yep. When inflation was running near 20% and the pollies kept excluding
various components to make it look lower and argue for zero wages growth.
There was a rash of strikes and stopworks around that time.

Yep. When the ANZ was making take-over noises about the CBA in the 70's.
This was the real CBA (Commercial Bank of Australia Ltd for the kiddies) not
the Commonwealth Trading Bank, whose reputation was so fucked it had to
pinch a different set of initials.

Yep again, when Westpac was trying to unload about 10,000 positions.

so you believe the NTEU then? hell down here they can't even get other
unions to support them, they were disruptive as hell during our last
round of EBA negotiations and basically it seems nobody in the general
staff likes them much at all. hell if I could work 2 days to protest
against the NTEU I would think about it. they are protesting against
CHOICE, those who still want the eba can have it, those who think they
are better off on their own can try it.
