    That one is on the list for the next book splurge. Have you read Mrs
    Slocombe's Pussy by Stuart Jeffries? Again not very well written but
    does the whole nostalgia thing well in terms of content for those of a
    certain age.

    Um, yeah... that falls pretty heavily into my definition of boring.
    At least it did when I was forced to read such drivel.
    All the ones we had suggested to us (foisted upon us? Nearly) followed that
    basic plot.
    Not worth it IMO.
    Oh well. Each to their own and all that.
