Just reversing out of the drive yesterday stopped to let a neighbour past
and he promptly stops and gets out. I thought hello what have I done, well
it turns out some scrotes have only stolen the whole front of his Renault
Clio Sport off his drive while he slept.
The old bill says its getting really prevalent now.
Its kids stealing better body panels and sport kit to embellish their bottom
of the range motors. They park a car in front of your drive and just remove
all the panels they need and Bob's you uncle.

    Be Warned Scrotes Always About.

Better keep an eye on my Beemer as its got all the factory sport kit you can
    shake a stick at.

    No surprise really, is it.

In the old days, pre effective factory immobilisers etc., they'd just nick
the whole thing and then torch what was left of it after they'd finished
pulling the bits they wanted off of it.

In Another Place a chap had his side repeaters nicked. Didn't take
anything else, just those. The really baffling thing is that they're
on more models of car than the number based on the golf floorplan.

Someone nicked the glass out of the mirror of my old mans Golf (1) recently.

Given a stick on replacement is normally under a tenner from Halfords etc.,
one can assume the thief *really* wanted one with a heating element built
    in.

    Cunts.

    (1) Which funnily enough is indeed a car underpinned by the Golf floorpan

Someone once tried to nick the front bumper off my MKII Golf
    [1].

The Old Bill said they'd had a series of reports of bits being
nicked off GTis, and they reckoned someone round here was
    Kevving a Golf.

    [1] Based on *that* floorpan.
