Ot.. Suggestive and Intrigueing

Holy Cow.. The event most of us have been anxiously waiting for, finally
happened last sunday.. The announcement came first from Paul Bremer in
Baghdad.. "We got him".. referring , of course to the dramatic capture of
the butcher of Baghdad..President Bush appeared before the cameras, looking
haggard and worn out.. He humbly offered a brief four minute message to the
world acknowledging that Saddam Hussein is, in fact in custody..The coverage
of the capture was dramatic and inspiring to all Bush supporters and the
Washington scene was flooded with buoyant praises for our military and the
president..Monday.. the nation had commenced to regain some semblance of
thought process and the alternative theories began to appear .Those theories
have sytematically been ridiculed by the administration and suggestions of
treasonous and unpatriotic speculation have been flying from all
directions..Somehow, the thinking americans, who have been deceived by the
performances and manipulations of this administration were holding their
breaths, waiting for the other shoe to fall. The president commenced to
appear on camera again on Monday.. The haggard and worn appearance
transformed into the cocksure and dapper George W.Bush that we have all
grown to love and admire..Daily news conferences have taken place with
almost hourly declarations.. Wednesday.. we may have seen the other shoe
suddenly drop.. The ex governor of New Jersey, appointed by Bush to chair
the 911 investigation committee, suddenly released his first draft report
and it was highly critical of the incompetent performance that caused the
disaster of 911.. Even going so far as to blame the administration for the
incompetence.. Governor Kean stated that 911 could have been prevented
except for the incompetence of the administration and furthur stated that
the people responsible are still in office.. none have been replaced or
fired..Karl Rove was certainly aware of the impending release of that report
before the end of the workweek.. Pre-emptive strikes being the order of the
day for this administration, it is conceivable that the impact of the 911
commission report must be minimized .. The dramatic capture of the Butcher
of Baghdad was timely and effective.. Sunday .. while most americans were
watching their favorite talk shows .. Just maybe.. those alternative
theories of that capture might have some credibility.. Furthur speculation
goes into the campaign year of 2004.. Timely withdrawal of our military
forces in Iraq.. Another "mission accomplished" event by the president.. And
the coup d'grace of another dramatic capture of Osama bin Laden.. Hold on
here, Walker.. surely the president doesn't control events such as this..Are
you sure ? One of the alternative theories is that Saddam Hussein has been
in our custody for some time and held until the capture is expedient to
boost sagging approval ratings.. Obvious discrepancies have been offered and
suggested.. None have been addressed to the president by our media. and of
course he hasn't volunteered any explanations.. The devious escape of bin
Laden from the mountains of Afghanistan and the tidbits of press releases
reporting sightings, etc, to confirm our belief that he truly is at large
and running loose.. Coupled with the "mission accomplished" withdrawal from
Iraq, released at a timely period.. And then the miraculous capture of the
world's most wanted terrorist would be the clincher to ensure another four
years of the Bush administration..As the theory of the Saddam Hussein plays
out, consider that Bin Laden may be in custody for some time, held in a
similar location to the one where we found Hussein.. waiting for the timely
release of another miraculous and efficient drama of capture..Is our
government capable of such deceit and deception.. Think about it.. Past
performance and manipulation of dramatic events have been the tools of Karl
Rove to keep the performance approval rating of Bush in an acceptable
percentage.. Yes.. this administration is capable of sinking to whatever
level necessary to execute their agenda and control of our democracy.. Think
about it and remember this post.. See all of you on the slab.. Keep 'em on
two wheels and shiny side up, please..

You are exactly right.. The United States is a Republic.. Supposedly our
form of government is supposedly a democracy..A democratic government is for
the people and of the people.. There is definitely a distinction in the
two.. Seems like that debate is ongoing and I fully realize the difference
without argument or debate.. Nothing in that post suggests controversy..
