Is there 'owt I can do to put a stop to this hi-jacking, or do I just have

I get loads of these, all I can do is set a rule in outlook, looking for
'undelivered' and send it to deleted folder
Our security software still cannot protect against this spam unfortunatly

Part of life when you've got a domain. I just use a bunch of filters in
Mailwasher, for example if the entire header contains @muddystuff.co.uk
but doesn't contain any of the actual addresses I use, it gets
    automatically deleted.

Live with it. There seems to be a bit of a spate at the moment. I'm
getting them as are some of my clients.

    Hello,
Are the spammer using mail addresses witch are in use at your domain ?
If not, you could perhaps disable the "catch all" service on the mailserver
    ?

It's someone using others domains in a "pump and dump" scam, not a lot you
can do really. I am having the same probs too.

<FX Furious Mouse Clicking and Typing> "Forward any e-mail sent to an

Job done, I'd forgotten how easy "ukreg domain config services" were to use.

    like they were saying :

    Bin there, dun that.

At one stage, I was getting north of 10,000 delivery failures per HOUR.

    It's called a JoeJob.

  9. Nothing you can do to stop it - but it will probably slow down after
    a couple of weeks.

What you DO need to do ASAP is circulate your usual contacts and tell
them what has happened and make sure they whitelist you - otherwise
there will be a lot of your genuine emails that won't get through
because they will have been blacklisted by some overenthusiastic
    anti-spamware.

Been having them on one of my domains for a few months now. Filtered out all
    mail with "delivery Failure".

This *may* be of some help if your ISP supports it:

Get your mail setup so it doesn't have a catch all facility , or at least
route it to a separate mailbox.
Anything sent from an invalid address @ your domain will just get binned
    then

Report it to the pigs as fraud.

And now I have stopped laughing just send it to Spamcop and forget.

Although I did have an idea. Do you all remember when the IRA were
being joe jobbed in this way and how it doesn't happen anymore. Now I
can only guess at how they managed to stop the spammers doing this but
istm that they have the basis of a very effective anti spam organisation
and should use what they have got. I mean, imagine irony of the likes
of good old English prossies paying them to do "stuff" on their behalf.
