This post has nothing to do with motorcycles but as FOAK you lot are the
only place I can think to ask. I got one of these:-

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150088520504

In the 70's it was a Naval beer cooler but all the gubbins has been
removed and now it's just a rather extraordinary kitchen cupboard.

Can anybody think of anywhere such a thing could be successfully
promoted as I HAVE to get shot of it but the end of the month come what may.

Angle grinder suggestions will be considered as seriously as anything else.

Considering second-hand fridges are worth 9/10 of **** all, a 'buy it now'
price of £500 is likely to put anyone off even bothering to put in an offer.

500 quid? You're taking the piss, mate.
Just take off the buy it now price and any reserve - I'm sure it'll
sell, but probably only for a fraction of what you seem to think it's
    worth.

You may well be right, but for the five years I've had the thing in my
kitchen, the majority of visitors have loved it, so it's got to be worth
having a go. How else can one value something that is both beautiful (in
the eye of the beholder) and almost totally unique? After all people do
spend MUCH more than that on kitchen cupboards:-
    http://www.devolkitchens.co.uk/catalogue.php?section_id=240
for example. If it doesn't sell it will go back on at £1 and no reserve.

Whatever you and your friends think, it's still a broken fridge. And
people spend money on kitchen cupboards that are co-ordinated and
fitted, and match their kitchen appliances. I mean, in the pix on that
auction page, it matches its surroundings about as well as a turd on a
billiard table. And as a cupboard, it's space-inefficient to the Nth
    degree.

Lightfoot are stil in business - ask them what they think it's worth.
I doubt it's £500. I think your idea of sticking it up for £1 and no
    reserve has rather more merit.

  7. It's the kind of thing you used to be able to pick up at MoD auctions
for tuppence. 500quid is taking the piss.

I like it, and if you were closer I'd give you 50 for it, no problem.
