    And amazingly they were not all pointed at him. Or loaded with live
    ammo.. Does he not care that they are shooting blanks!

    Still - he is (nominally) the head of a soverign country (The Vatican)
    to I guess they would play it safe.

    Sure, they've little/no choice diplomatically.

    An added chuckle was the fact of the obergruppenpriest's more
    sophisticated use of a second language during his speech, compared to
    Bush's use of his first.[1]
