The original Italian Job is out on DVD. Basically a bunch of second rate
Pommy crims pull off a massive bullion robbery in Turin making both the
local Police and the Italian Mafia look like complete geese in the process.

    Made me think of Hatz.

A Great movie! I saw it many moons ago. I'll have to look out for it.
Much better than the new version, That I'm yet to see, but from the
previews, I'm in no hurry too, It's gunna be on Foxtel in July, So I might
    catch it then.

  4. Much better than the new version, That I'm yet to see, but from the
Interesting way you form your opinions, but anyhoo. The new version
is in no way a remake of the old one, it's more an "inspired by"
    thing. I liked them both.

Definately worth a look. The new one is more of a homage than a remake
though and while it has a certain appeal it lacks the English charm of the
    original.

Makes me think of Noel Coward coming down the steps in the prison,
modestly acknowledging the chant of "Bridger"!
