Have you had any done yet? I was of the 'tattoos are stupid and so are the people who have them' opinion for a number of years but then opened my mind a little. I have been considering a small piece of body art to my own design for a couple of years. Actually getting it done is unlikely because it keeps varying, though the basis has been consistent and I may just get that then add to it. I don't understand people who have tattoos that don't have long term significance - too many people I know had them done in their teens and now regret it or have had them covered over with larger body art pieces. Not even in a gleaming machinery, marvel of engineering way? If only I could find someone to pay me to post to usenet. I'd forget to water it and it would wither and die.
That was the one, and I understand your reasons but can't say I get the "mum mode" thing, having never had kids, or that hormonal cocktail that is being a woman. MWHID.
And of course men never are influenced by their hormonal cocktails? <debates adding chemical castration tablets to all future coffees made in this house>
I designed and had two done. IMO they're irrelevant. The body changes, gets fat/thin and wrinkly, tattoos are the least of its problems. Although in my defence I had them done in the early 90's before they became such a popular fashion accessory. My bikes don't stay gleaming for very long
Well if it isn't meaningful and likely to remain so why have it done at all? But for you that is really meaningful.
99.9% of my life isn't meaningful - I still get on and do it all, tho. <disappears in tautological argument>
