As in paper cutters rather than means of execution.

Does anyone here have one? When did you last use one?

No. A sharp knife run along the edge of a steel ruler is my prefered
method of cutting paper down to a size.

    Got a Staples "Hobby Trimmer":
    http://www.staples.co.uk/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?webid=394044. Sometimes
use it loads, sometimes not for weeks. It's several years old, used to cut
paper, card, sometimes plastic. Still very sharp, does a nice clean cut.

I think I've got one with a pivoted blade rather than a sliding one. But it
was last seen in the attic and I CBA to find it. IIRC it was a bit pants
    too.

Sliding thingy. Not used since I stopped having to compose club
magazines without a decent DTP package. No appropriated by SWMBO.

we have a small antiquey one which SWMBO acquired from a car boot sale.

It apparently came out of a very old photographic shop.

    <googles for paper drills>

Oooo. Now owning one of those would be weird, but I'm satisfied that
my possession of a guillotine is not that unusual.

Validity, we don't need no stinking validity.

No idea, Matlock's half an hour away.
Post it nearer the time and I'll see where I am that weekend.
