Somehow between creating and printing the index of a book we have
produced became cocked up so I have two pages I wish to issue as an
    addendum.

I would like the two pages to be printed side by side on a single sheet
of A4; so the re-issued pages are now A5.

How can I achieve this or more to the point can someone do this for me?

The pages in question are here as pdf files (and the whole document
    they're from in Word 2000): http://sweller.dynalias.org/cos/

I have the full Acrobat 6 - surely that can do 'stuff'. TIA.

In Windoze it is usually in the properties sheet for the printer
    when you click on 'print'.

  3. Just select two-up printing in the printer dialogue before
    hitting the PRINT button.
...or did you want the resuction included in the electronic
version? Acrobat should do that but since it screws up IE/Reader and
I've never really found out what it _does_, I binned it.

    Hmm, pdf2ps -> mpage -> ps2pdf didn't work at first try. Now I'm
late for work beause I had to download mpage, compile it and install it.
    'Bye...

you're just talking about printing out the addendum, so you can insert
    it in the printed books?

If so, why do you want the two pages side by side, wouldn't you be
better off having them on either side of a single piece of A5 (well,
slightly more than A5 with a tab for glueing into the rest of the
    book)?

The plan is to distribute the two amended pages as a pdf file so people
can print the altered pages on their standard A4 printers, cut them in
half and then stick them into the A5 booklet (we've only just had
    printed).

    What a fucking PITA.
