Indeed, when I finally got to it I got 7 out of 10, although only about half
of the answers can be gleaned by reading any of the Hitch-Hikers books.

I also got 8 out of 10 on the first and second "Yes, Minister" quizzes.

The link is here http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7/quizzes/ BTW

Not only that, but as the questions are randomized "4"
    is irrelevent.

So that's the question about 42 then.

The correct answer should be, "Never revealed" or some such.

The answer the quiz is looking for is "What do you get if you multiply six
by nine" - which is the corrupt version of the question that Arthur and Ford
get by picking letters from a Scrabble set towards the end of "The
Restaurant at the End of the Universe".

Nice song to be going throughh my head now, but wtf's it got to do
with the rest of the thread? I often wonder what triggers your musical
quotes, but this has got to be up there with the most obtuse of them.

  9. Jeezes, that was what, yesterday? Something to do with Champ and
Will and I all scoring the same on the quiz and missing the same clue?

  10. I've given up trying to understand it;

#For the sake of your own peace of mind...

I suggest you do the same (unless you can identify _that_ snippet!).

  12. See, you're not as young as you think!

"This following program is dedicated to the city and people of San
Francisco, who may not know it but they are beautiful and so is their
city. This is a very personal song, so if the viewer cannot understand
it, particularly those of you who are European residents, save up all your
bread and fly Trans-Love airways to San Franciscan U.S.A., then maybe you
will understand the song. It will be worth it, if not for the sake of
this song but for the sake of your own peace of mind!"
