What was the phase of the moon on the 19th of July 2007 and would it have
    been a bright moonlit night?

I've never got my head round the moon thing: it's either bright or it's
not. While we're at it what's the difference between a new moon and a
    full moon?

  2. A new moon is when you've got a slither of moon, a crescent shape and a
full moon is is when the whole moon is showing, like a big silvery disc.

    Aowwwwwwwwwww!!

It was a waxing crescent, sunset was 21.24, moon set was 23.06, so
there would have been no moonlight after then and even before then
you'd get very little from a moon that new.
Get a couple of balls and a torch and I'll show you.

  7. Dunno, ask a Druid. There's bound to be one somewhere near on here.
A new moon is an attempt at a full moon but carried out in a small car.

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

  13. Banjo finger picks, not sharp but steel and pointy. Now can we stop
this thread before I have to go for a little lie down.

  15. I think Sir is a fucking know nothing newbie and not yet as familiar
with the euphemisms common in ukrm as Sir might be and would
respectfully suggest that Sir is grossly mistaken.
