Completely off topic but i have no doubt someone knows or has an idea whats
    going on with my laptop.

Basically, every so often the screen goes blank, or so i thought. It was
only 5 minutes ago that i noticed looking closer, when it does it, its like
its gone completely dark ie you can just see the programme running but only
    just.

Once you move the screen towards you or away from you, ie on the hinge it
    comes back to normal.

Anyone know what this could be, im making a completly uneducated guess that
the wiring between the screen and the main part of the laptop is knackered,
I wouldnt mind so much but the fuckers less than a year old!

You're right - wiring between screen and base. Good news is that it's
'only' the backlight wiring, though..... but this is quite likely to be
carried on the main ribbon cable anyway.

You could try taking the case off from around the keyboard and
    re-seating the screen cable.
