  1. Has anyone any recommendations for a holiday cottage or small nice hotel
    arooond Loch Ness.
Specifically Drumnadrochit around the 18th Aug when I'm taking me ol' mum up
    to see Runrig.

Ah, now, when i bought my first car, a mini 1000 with no wing mirrors back
in February 1991 i think it was, me and SWMBO jumped in, filled it up with
petrol and went camping. A different place in scotland every night, but
after a night at Loch Lomond, we got to the side of Loch Ness where we were
going to camp. It was barren and blowing a gale. When we asked the bloke
where we could camp, he pointed beside a hightop transit which was rocking
so much with the wind coming off the lake it genuinly looked like it would
tip over with one good gust! **** that was the consensus so we ended up
driving on a bit, finding a B&B run by two 45 year old lesbians in a
bungalow and stayed the night. They wouldnt let us leave until we'd cleared
nearly two breakfasts each!! Great B&B but ill be fucked if i know the name
nor even if it still exists. Brings back memories :)

  5. Agreed, can't stand em' myself.
My dad died of a heart attack last time she went to see them in New York, so
I thought a nice break in sweatysockland, taking in her fave band would be
    nice.

I stayed in a nice hotel in Foyers in 1978 but I can't remember the name.
Keep away from Boleskine House after dark though.

It's not run by two lesbians is it?

  8. They are. The first time we saw them was in a marquee in Broadford,
    Eilean A'Cheo..
