Fracture clinic today - instructions are *NO* weight whatsoever for 4
weeks. I am allowed to touch the floor with it when on crutches,
    that's it.

UK doctors and nurses very impressed with German efficiency, one of
the best pins they've seen. They say it will stay in my leg, no need
    to take it out.

UK doctors far nicer than German surgeon - no nonsense about selling
my motorbike from them, just an 'as soon as you feel OK taking the
    weight'.

The killer is because of the severity of the break I've been told 3
months off work. I'm sure there's a way I can do stuff at home,
thankfuly the last of the school visits until September had been
completed just before I went away.

The lovely lady in xray has printed me out huge transparencies of
    today's shots.

And the police have rung, they've recovered my VFR, only damage a
snapped foot peg - CID bloke says it is the best condition they have
ever recovered a bike in. Scrote who was named is currently in the
cells and they have warrants to search a number of houses.

To be fair, the bike had the easiest time of it. Now, DO AS YOU'RE TOLD
    for a while.

Things are kind of up and down, then? Listen to the nice doctor now,
    dear.

I have already made the greatest contribution to the fight against climate
change that I can make: I have decided not to breed. Now quit bugging me and
go and talk to the Catholics.

Sounds like it's come out in sympathy with you.

    I was thinking that too!

Can you get an airwalker type boot. Transfers the load to above the
break and allows you to perambulate.

I'll ask physio when I get there, crutches are hard work!

So you'll be able to make a cuppa but you'll have to drink it standing
    by the kettle!
    Some good news then.

Heh. If it's the right foot peg I'll grin.

My guess is they're used to nicking 50s and 125s and the slightly
increased power caught them by surprise.

Mmmm, does the bit in the middle vibrate?

Coming back from the GP yesterday I was getting particularly giggly
over certain sections of pavement. Then TBC started to avoid those
    bits :(

    Good Oh.
It's PITA but it's worse if you do something silly and undo some
    months of healing.
Hopefully there's some steps he can fall down.

On this one I cannot oblige. Blonde, thin, fit. All 4 UKRM reprobates
currently in my house were drooling.
