  1. Heh, no. Anything smaller than a mini-gun would've been swallowed up by
    the bag ;)

I guess that safely rules out option b) up there ^^^ then. 50:50 on a)
    or c) then?

In a major senior moment, I had managed to completely mix up all tghe
details between writing it down at work and getting home last night.

There was an eathquake, a stampede, I was attacked by lions..... it
    wasn't my fault, honest!

My aplogies to the driver of the aforementioned vehicle.

    The correct details are actually:

A Renault Clio, although I got the colour right as Green, and the
    registration is P880WBB.

    Sorry about that.

Erm, a brand new Bridgestone actually :-(

Although the front one could be damaged :)

Heh, so it was b) and c) then. Were the police any more interested
    today?

  6. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember (Andy
    Hewitt) saying something like:
That comes up as a red one, so it's a copied plate, I suppose.

I haven't called today, although they didn't even get as far as asking
    details about the car anyway.

Yes I noticed that too, although it could well have been a Renault Clio,
it was very dirty, and I could only read the plate when I got close
enough. That's a definite ID on the plate though.

It's possible that a) it could have been resprayed, or b)[1] that DVLA
    have the records wrong.

    [1] pretty likely.

  9. And at times the calls could be distressing, yonks ago SWMBO worked on
the board at Aldershot and received a few grim 999 calls.

Yebbut we don't talk about that see, too kin depressing innit? We gloss
it over and hide the nasty side by taking the piss out of the other more
    mundane bits of the reality.
