A quick schedule of dilapidations conducted this afternoon on the old greenhouse that my most arcane SOB tat is stored in, reveals that collapse is imminent. The contents therefore need to be rationalised. They include a surprisingly large quantity of 1/4inch 'dural' plate of the type traditionally used for constructing engine plates for specials like Tritons (or in my case Rotax/Morini). I have lost the paperwork (from 20 years ago) and though I have googled a lot I can't find a specification which jogs the memory. All I can remember is I purchased it from an Alcan branch. So before I try it on Ebay has anyone got any idea what the spec. might be to jog my memory, and what sort of price it should fetch (there is enough to supply several 500 x 500 mm plates)?
