Finaly got me arse into gear and made up a new feck off big rear bumper and
    socket system for the camper,

The socket system is a pair of 60mm square 5mm thick bits of box section
bolted to the chassis rails, extending out the back of the body, and in them
slots a couple of bits of 50 x 50mm box, giving a couple of foot extension
    to the rear,

Onto them i need to weld/bolt a suitable rail/channel type thing to take the
scooters wheels, seen what i want, but can't find anyone local selling them.

Erde trailers do a few motorcycle trailers, and they sell the rail bit the
bike sits in on the trailer seperately, it's code RA450, and sells for £33
to £49 depending on which web site i've seen them on, but they are all
bloody miles from me, (devon, london, ferrybridge etc)

Anyone know of a place in the easy midlands that sells the RA450 bike rail
    thingy's? or anything similar,
Needs to be galvo'd steel, wheel hoop on one end, and upto 2 meters long, oh
and i need 2 of the buggers (one for a ramp, the other for the bit the scoot
sits on when were tooteling down the road)

I've looked into getting some bits of steel folded up to trough's, but
they'd cost as much as the erde jobbies, and wont be galvo'd or have the
    wheel hoop.

  2. Got a mig?

    Make yer own.

1" box is all you need; strong enough to take a small bike or scooter.

There's an ERDE stockist near me, Wilstow, Bury St Edmunds.

My trailer is an Erde, if they have it, I could collect it and see what
could be arranged with the UKRM underground railway company.
    ITH?

Cheers for the offer, changed me mind again... found a place not too far
from me that can make up a ramp/chanel to the exact size of the scoots tyres
(well rear one anyway as that's the largest.. a whopping 130mm wide un :)

It'll be galvo'd, with the turn overs at the top making it nice and neat.. i
    hope.

Now i just need to molish up a wheel hoop to stop me pushing the scoot too
far and off the other end of the channel

(Luckily i picked up a chop saw at the newark autojumble the other weekend,
bloody handy bit of kit for cutting steel sections, got it cheap as feck as
it had a colapsed bearing on the motor output shaft, one pug speetfight
front wheelbearing later and it there were sparks flying.. deliberately from
cuttin through some 90 x 90 x 5 box like butter... angle grinder on steroids
    :)
