Have you looked at popfile? It's got a web-browser interface. If you
think I'm going to be faffing around with text files you're sorely
    mistaken.

So you want it not to work and to make things crawl along? You've got
    some odd software requirements.

Still, I suppose it'll give you something to complain about aside from
the policemen all being young these days.

I was on about speed. This old machine plugs away quicker than the time
it takes for force9 and BT to actually get the mail from there to here.
It would have to cut the processing speed by an order of magnitude
before I noticed. Besides, what is there to notice? Only about one out
of every couple of hundred emails sent this way are in need of
delivering. It can take all day long to bounce the shite if it wants, I
don't give a toss. I don't want to see it.

You have noticed it too and aren't they just eh? It is getting worse
though because politicians are starting to look young now as well, which
I am sure is a bad sign.

  4. It's fuggin brilliant, and Steve, there's even a doc on how to integrate
it with Turnpike. Popfile currently successfully filters 99.8% of my
Spam and I'm getting around 500 a day to 2 email addresses.

I have started playing with Mercury to see what it is like and so far it
is doing pretty much what I want and looks like it can cope nicely with
my future development plans. I'll give it a couple of weeks first and
see how it goes. If it doesn't work out Popfile is next on the list.

Mercury has just had its first session with any sort of filters running
and guess what, it deleted 4 emails from sir.tony. He appears to have a
virus. That is what I call a result.

I think most mail systems are written with filters to delete drivel from
    sir.tony by default.
