Off-Topic content.... but, I thought tx.mc might be a good
    source for information.

I'm looking for a personal/pocket radio with most of the
    following features(* denotes required)

    .. shirt pocket portable *
    .. AM/FM band *
    .. digital LED/LCD tuner display *
    .. headphone/earphone listening included *
.. "And the difficult feature" - built in recharger *

.. other frequency band(s) - TV, weather, etc ok
    .. station presets ok
.. Optionally, some degree of weather/rain resiliency might
    be nice, but not required.

I've found many similar units, but I really don't need a unit
with additional flashlight, cellphone, GPS, music library,
FAA radar, TV video, camera, or fold-out big screen TV.

Obviously, the most difficult option is the recharger. I do
not have an external recharger, but understand that I can
simply satisfy the recharge issue with one. But, I have
several appliances with rechargers, and kinda' like their
    convenience.

I'm looking for this radio for use with walking, bicycling,
motorcycling, or just about anything else.

    I'm in the DFW area.

    Anyone seen anything like this?

I've cruised the sites of Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, and
Radio Shack, but didn't hit. Maybe, I just overlooked?

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Thanks Mike....

I did Google using +"pocket radio" +"recharge", which
produced many results. But, I didn't see any(in the first
100 or so hits) that actually contained a recharger.

    I'll check out your information.

    Thank,

    Gary

I just hate replacing batteries. I may just have to opt for
an external charger. But, if the radio has presets, those
are usually lost for a battery swap.
