    I've said elsewhere you aren't.
    Same here.
I'm not frothing at all - t'was Mr H that initially frothed and I
    don't see you flaming him.

All I've done is outline why you, me and others that were outlined by
DNC who shift the odd motor on aren't traders and why it would appear
SteveH was right to come to the conclusion Alan Crowder probably is.

And like I said to him elsewhere in the thread, I couldn't give a ****
if it was... but if anyone is looking to make their mind up, it's
worth noting he didn't bother to reply to straight question regarding
whether or not he's buying the motors up to tosh over and sell on for
    profit immediately.
Since when did that stop anyone from posting???

I've not ranted about anyone doing any such thing.

    See my reply to Nige.

That'll be the VFR750 that SteveH currently owns and which as I
understand it has had nothing major done to it other than a new
exhaust and a set of clocks because the PCB had rotted out since I
sold it getting one for 10 years ago now, and yet still rides spot on
and which I paid the full asking price for, will it?

I did nothing wrong when I bought, used, worked on and then sold that
bike, despite the efforts of cunts like Bear to make something out of
    nothing.

    There is no story.

Getting on for 10 years ago, Sorby offered the bike up in the UKRM IRC
chat room and I agreed to buy it at the full asking price.

I bought it, used it for a while, fettled it (including refinishing a
panel etc), and then sold it on to SteveHs brother, (for a profit -
not entirely sure when that was so wrong given the work it had had
done to it), when I could no longer afford to keep it.

In other words, I did nothing that TOG wouldn't have done at the time.

There was a brief spate with Lozzo in the aftermath when he showed
interest in it when it went back up for sale, which then got
manipulated and used as an excuse by Bear in the main to keep dragging
me through the mud... for over three years, maybe longer.

SteveHs brother sold the bike back to him this year and it's still a
good un, if a little under used.

Like I say, no story... or rather there wouldn't be if tossers like
Ace, someone who I made it quite clear to ages ago that I've long
thought him a spineless gobshite, stopped bending the truth because
IIRC, other than that bike, all I've sold to anyone else from UKRM in
the past vehicle wise was a Golf estate to Timo, who was happy with
    it.

I've bought a car off Lucretia and one off DNCs mate, and a couple of
bikes off Timo... and unless they've been biting their tongues ever
    since, they've all been happy.

I do hope it's been noted that I've decided to let sleeping dogs lie
regarding this particular incident and kept myself from posting my
    views on this thread.

That'd be another success for the sheepskin coat brigade then.

  10. I think there are people in this world, me being one of them, who have
absolutely no idea what the feeling of boredom is. My biggest problem
is finding time to do all the stuff I want to do. Life is waaaaay too
    short.

  11. I did my unrestricted bike test on one with bent handlebars. It had
been chucked down the road more times than I've had hot dinners.
Possibly the most uninspiring bike I have ever ridden.

Indeed. My mate Francis raced an 883 Sportster[1] (alongside Chris
Dabbs of MCN) back in the early nineties. He won the UK Championship
and they raced in the Harley series race at Daytona.

I preferred seeing the Sportsters in the dirt track racing.

The one I hired for a couple of days whilst there was shit, mind. The
Honda Nighthawk that a bloke I met in a local bar lent me for a week
was better. Still shit, but better.

[1] when asked by Superbike (IIRC) "What cc is it?" his answer was
    "Err...883...err...allegedly".

Oh, OK. I rather thought his peg was on the ground too. My gf has a
Sportster, and she's always scraping bits.
