The decision handed down by District Judge Suzanne Covington, earlier this
week has seemingly been kept as quiet as possible.. Other than the one brief
mention on radio, the broadcast media has completely ignored reporting any
    details..

As reported by the one print media article which brother Elmer McKeeghan
posted, there have been nothing else available.. According to that article,
Judge Covington overturned the court ruling against the insurance companies
    on Constitutional grounds..

Not having been able to read the actual decision by the Judge..there are
concerns with the ruling she has made, this week..

In spite of request through her clerk, no details of her decision has been
forwarded to me.. The response has been that she found in favor of the
insurance companies because the prior decision was Unconstitutional..

Another poster has pointed out that after re-reading my well worn copy of
the Constitution of the United States, I agree.. there is no provision that
endows Corporations with constitutional rights.. Especially when weighed
against the constitutional rights of an individual.. Her decision is badly
flawed and Judge Covington should be made fully aware, that Texans do not
    agree ..

For the past couple of years, Texas has been pre-occupied with high profile
political offices and the candidates who are high profile.. We've neglected
to pay attention to the judicial seats, throughout our state.. There seems
to be no major grassroots movement to direct attention to the decisions
being made locally which affect us all, directly.. Decisions made by our
courts are crucial to our everyday lives.. Little as we think of that good
ol'boy on the bench, his decisions affect us all.. Wanna make a difference
and contribute to better representation in our government, then we have to
be attentive to the Judges, Justices of the Peace and the County
    Commissioners courts, in our state..

With this latest decision that Judge Covington has handed down, every voter
in Texas and especially the voters of her District, the examples of
incompetence in office should serve as a wake up notice..

Two such Judges in our District Courts in Dallas county have been turned out
of office during this last election.. There are more in the state who have
contributed to the same kind of decisions as Judge Covington.. They should
all understand that their decisions are scrutinized by the constituents who
    voted for them..
