paging the FOAK wot knows about these things.

My PC went mammaries upwards this morning - so I took the opportunity to
    upgrade things a bit.

Question is there are some e-mails on the old hardrive and my address book I
want to import back in to the new hardrive.

I googled in vain - any tips on how to do this very much appreciated.

  2. Assuming you're using outlook, look for a file ending .pst

There should be various .dbx files on the old hard drive which OE uses to
    store your emails.
You'll hopefully be able to replace the new ones with these.

  6. No, outlook does per my post, you prick.
And you'd be right, unfortunately I didn't notice the OE6 which had
scrolled off the edge of the subject column.
