    No it's not.

The car shuts down into Economy Mode after 30 minutes, so you don't drain
the battery listen to the radio or something (they're made for the French
    after all....).

The cure is quite funny. You simply have to start the engine.

You can thank me for the education any time hehe ;-)

FFS that's what I get for been smarmy. I meant to add, if the car doesn't
start after, the battery needs charging. I deserve the mocking, but, be
gentle, I'm not very well remember heh :p

Well, it cured it on my 206 when I picked it up from Arundale Scarborough
who were servicing it (not out of my choice...) who had obviously been
listening the radio or something all day - possibly starting it every 30
    mins heh.

    @mid.individual.net:

Yes, and fucking annoying it is too.

I discovered this when waiting for a trian to arrive with the sprog aboard.
The train decided to terminate in Bristol rather than complete its
    scheduled journey in Cardiff.

Comedy text messages ensued, with a 16 year old being forced to think and
    make decisions.

Meanwhile, I was happily sat in the car park of my local train station
listening to Test Match Special. Until, the fucking economy mode kicked in.
Mad prodding of buttons. Turn on ignition. Prod more buttons. Swear a lot.
Read TFM. Brum, brum goes the engine. Hooray, CMJ restored. 21 mins later
the fucking thing went into economy mode again. Cunts.

What a stupid idea. Why can't it reset itself when the ignition is engaged.
Why the need to start the engine and defeat any notion of economy?

<no financial institutions were harmed in this rant>

Try pasting into notepad first, to ensure you only have plain text and
no binary cruft, and then copy/paste the text from notepad into your
    news client.

For notepad substitute another pure ascii text editor if you're a non-
    windows junky.
