  1. I shall be in Birmingham this Friday evening. Can any of our West
Midlands residents recommend a decent noshery?

http://www.henrysrestaurant.co.uk/index.htm looks jolly fine - anyone
    tried it?

    Other suggestions welcome.

I've got some garlic in the fridge, I'll try that next time.

    Sounds delish.

A friend of mine runs a japanese restaurant there at 129 High St,
Harborne. As far as I know it's pretty good, although I haven't
actually been there myself. It's a good friend so yuo can mention me.

If it's Cantonese you're after, the Ruby chain has a good reputation

If it's a ruby you're after, Adil's Number 1 in Sparkbrook *used* to
have a great reputation, but has gone downhill, so avoid it.

Generally, get out of the centre, and head towards Edgbaston, where
    the cricket ground is.
