OT.(?). Bush Bombs before UN

The president went before the UN today.. Supposedly to mend some fences and
to commence repairing the image of America, that has been done, due to his
policies..

His speech was designed to appeal only to his support base for the upcoming
election..

Leaders from nations around the world sat in stunned and stony silence as
Bush boasted of progress in bringing democracy and peace to Afghanistan and
Iraq..

America desperately needs the financial support and on the ground assistance
from these Leaders, yet Bush insulted their intelligence with declarations
of resolve, determination and self purpose..

No plan to end the desperation of the plight of those Afghans and Iraqis..
No strategy for their independence and properity.. Only more threats and
declarations of destruction of an unamed enemy of terrorists.. There were no
mention of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein was only briefly referred to,
by name.. There certainly were no mention of the WMD's which Powell so
graphically detailed for this same body of Leaders..

The responsibility for the many mistakes in judgement of this administration
were not an issue with Bush.. He didn't even acknowledge the disastrous
mistakes that his administration have made since he took office..

George Bush has failed Americans again.. Losing this opportunity to gain
support, respect and the alliance of the world will surely be a haunting
reminder to the voters in November..

Kerry was on Regis this morning. Just as his time slot came up, Fox cut
over to the UN....too slick.

As far as Bush, I thought he did good. Should make every American proud
that they have a leader. The others there were 'stunned' because they
aren't used to seeing a leader that doesn't cower down to thier crooked
bullshit.
