OT Bored of train journeys

They're not all funny, mind. "In Our Time" is about the history if
ideas, and is probably the best radio programme ever made (imo, of
course!). "Material World" is a magazine show about advances in the
physical sciences, and "Thinking Allowed" is a similar programme about
the social sciences. "Start the Week" is a round table programme with
4 people with something to flog, but it's usually interesting stuff,
and hosted by Andrew Marr, who I like a lot.

heh. Well, once you start...

I swapped emails with him recently, so he's as up to date as I am,
iyswim. Not suprised that he's organised - he's always struck me as
that sort of chap, and anyway, it's very difficult to race seriously
without being organised.

 

Champ, did you ever get in contact with James, and if so what was the
outcome?
