  5. Oooh,

If you find you do indeed have it stashed somewhere I'll gladly supply you
with a blank dvd in exchange.

    What, for 20p ?

If I have time this weekend, I'll see what I can do

although it can only be a week or so until the whole series is repeated
    on BBC3

Snail mail addy would be useful, the above email is valid

  7. More than likely, but since my Pace digibox has expired [1] , I'm stuck with
    analogue ntl cable channels

For the life of me I can't see an email adress above, but thats probably
something to do with the fact that there was a new barrel of tanglefoot down
    the local tonight.

[1] Started dropping channels, re-scan bought up no channels found, now the
things not even seen over scart, looks well toasted inside.

  8. Have a look over at www.satcure.com /co.uk and see if it's just the PSU.
    They do kits.

  9. I've had a DVM on it, the correct voltage is getting through to the PCB end
    of things.

  10. Hah, do you think it's that stupid? Of course it puts out the correct
voltage when you're around prodding it, but when your back's turned it
plays games with your head, the cunning little bastard.

Pace seem to be the worst, but the others are nearly as bad for PSU
faults, with channel dropping and mysterious re-sets being common
symptoms. If you've caught it before it's gone too far, a PSU repair kit
    might do the trick.

  13. It was a momentry lapse in pissedness.

I haven't mailed you yet as I've only just got back from a weekend bumbling
    round 't n.yorks moors/whitby/croft area.

PS - The magpie cafe in Whitby rocks.
