Second son has bought an exotic (www.staticbikes.co.uk) jump bicycle
frame but it has 14mm dropouts and he has 9mm axles. He needs a couple
of washers about 4mm thick (exact size to be confirmed) with a hole
diameter of 9mm and an outside diameter of 14mm.

    Any (helpfuy/relevant) suggestions welcome

Might be worth looking at some new hubs with 20mm thru-axles and
bringing them down to 14mm. That'd give him more strength that he'll
certainly need if he's using a jump bike properly.

I notice the manufacturer does inserts to bring 9mm axles up to 14mm
though. Or he could buy their rear hub which isn't too expensive at 80
    quid.

Bloody odd size is 14mm. Standards are changing slowly to 20mm on the
front and 10mm on the back for downhill and jumping and staying at 9mm
    for xc frames.

Despite what it sais on the website they don't have any converters
    available.

He could buy their hub but
    a) it's only 36 hole
    b) He's already build a 48 spoke wheel around a Hope hub and Haro rim
    c) he's spent all his money already
    BMX innit?

    Thanks though

If you can get summat resembling a technical drawing to me then I'll see if
there is any spare time in my step dads shop. Let me know what it needs to
    be made out of.

Pah, you don't ever need more than 32 spokes.
    Sounds familiar.
I assumed it was an mtb based jump bike.

It is. Well sort of. It's MTB size and shape, can run gears and spongy
forks but has a three piece crank, disc and rim brake mounts and those
    big dropouts.

Well I would but if you read up the plan was for them to look very
original. Then again by the time WUN has finished with them.......

I wouldn't imagine the originals are anything better than rough old
cold stamped blanks so a Dremel will make them look better.
