According to my mum my dad worked for Customs and Excise, he had a
warrant from Lizzie allowing to do his job in her name and granting him
power to call upon the assistance of her maj's armed forces in the
    process.

It is my opinion that businessmen should take this type of thing onto
account when filling in their VAT returns.

Yep, that was the one I found the minibus times for *after* I'd
already booked the tour. I was about to cancel, and just before I
sent the cancellation email, I received the confirmation one. Doh!

Yeahbut the last time I looked, Malaria meds didn't cure or provide
    protection against dengue. :pp

  7. Not in my book. Thoughtful, perhaps.
Agreed on that, too. Damn, this is getting scarily consensual lately.

    Different mosquitos from malaria mosquitos

Dengue fever mosquitos buzz around during the day, Malaria ones around
    dusk

IIRC there isn't anything which protects against them apart from not
    letting them bite you

  13. Nothing protects you from the dengue except not getting bitten by the
dengue carrying mosquito. And it's only the ever the female mossi that
    give you the problems.

I am not deeply offended over spelling in general but writing
Pingievellir instead of Þingvellir would be like writing London with a
P, I am pretty sure that someone would be offended over that.

I can write London with P, but only when it snows.

Not really, as we'd at least be writing it in the correct script.
really, trascription errors should be viewed in a different light
thatn spelling - I mean, it's not our fault you've continued to use
some ancient script that the rest of the western world abandoned
    centuries ago, is it?

Well then, you're too sensitive. FFS, the OP isn't Icelandic and was
trying his best. Be more flexible, because you're the one that can
offend people by sending them emails correcting them.

I remember working in Poland in a town called Wodz. The problem for me
(before I knew) is that it's spelt Lodz (with a bar through the L) so I
went around calling it Lodz much to the amusment of those I asked
    directions from.
