OT; Amsterdam Hen Weekend;Hotel recommendations?

Hi all
I`m looking at hotels for a bunch of us girlies (about 8 of us so far)
to book for a Hen Weekend next April. Anybody got any advice from
personal experience about decent cheap hotels not too far from City centre?
Bearing in mind this is a /girls/ weekend & we like a bit of comfort/taste
when
we stay somewhere... not that I`m in anyway implying that Ukrmers haven`t
any taste, you understand....

You want the Krasnapolsky, right in Dam Square. Google for it. It's 5* but
if you book ahead for internet rates it's surprisingly cheap. Try a good few
different booking systems such as Expedia.

There is nothing *really* cheap right in the centre, well not that you want
to risk. There is a Holiday Inn Express near Centraal Station which was
OK'ish.
