I have one, the quality isn't great bit it's OK and very versatile.

 

That's a good price for one of those.

I paid double for mine about 2 years back.

The only problem with them is that you can't review footage on the
device - I carry around an old iPaq to stick the SD card into so I can
review stuff at track days and make adjustments to the mounting.
(Usually strapped to the passenger head-rest).

 

According to that page it is a special offer dated December 2009.

Its good enough for Youtube I assume?

Not having a firewire PC any longer i cant use my DV cam for such
things and so Im after a replacment, how long does the card last?

Get a Pinnacle Dazzle recorder and use you DV cam via USB.

 

The only output is firewire though - so hows that going to work?

Ah, I assumed that all cams had RCA connections.
