    Hi,

I'm after some opinions on a CBR600RR as I am thinking about buying one.

  2. Well, it doesn't come in a Repsol paintjob, which'll kill the resale
    value...

Its not air/oil cooled, so it'll never be a classic like a GPZ900.

On the plus side, I hear its got a chain final drive, so it should
    wheelie and countersteer OK...

You should be able to pick up a good one for about $3.50 and a kick in
the nuts, tho you might have to haggle...

    good luck,

    big

  11. It's pretty. To some that's a big thing when buying a bike. It's fucken
expensive for a 600. All reports I've read have had good things to say about
it. I fear it may be a little hard edged for daily road use. I might get
around to riding one one of these days. I don't wanna end up wanting one
tho. My marriage and my wallet won't take it. :) Expect typical Honda
    build quality.

Ask about doing a trade on the tyres if they aren't that flash (read: 207's)
'cause I hate mine on the 6R.

Ride it and find out. Ride the rest of them too. Anything in your budget, if
you have one. You may be surprised by another bike.

OMG...a CHAIN drive...do not buy this motorbicycle, a shaft drive motorcycle
will be so much smoother, cheaper to run, easier to clean, will not soil
ladies dresses ect...I think dneiper make a suitable unit

Great bike. As are all new 600s.

Brakes are the best I've used... Engine sounds nice, but transmits plenty of vibration to the rider. Very responsive at all revs.

Turn in is a tad slower than an R6, which annoys me. Not a whole lot though.

They don't cartwheel out of southern loop at PI very well though. Not sure if that has something to do with it being a Honda or
    not.

    Honda....
It looks fantastic... Of course it should for the price....
The seat is too hard, and it dug into the side of my legs when stationary.
I ended up buying a GSXR750 for less... It corners, it has more power than
you can use legally, it looks f**king awesome and best of all... it's
    comfortable.

    Just my 2 cents.

of vibration to the rider. Very responsive at all revs.
sure if that has something to do with it being a Honda or

Where's the usual $3.50 accompanying this tired old joke?
Geeks actually. You're not sufficiently hip to be called an arsehole.
